Confirmation
Confirmation brings a young man or woman into the full and complete Life of Christ and the Catholic Church. As the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are activated in their hearts and souls, they are prepared to give themselves fully and completely as committed Catholic Christians. Confirmation Preparation engages not only the young Catholic student, but also his or her parents, family, as well as the chosen sponsor.
For youth in grades 7-9, preparation for the sacrament of Confirmation takes place at the parish, with support from our parish schools.
For 2024-2025 the Confirmation Preparation Program will run October 2024 – March 2025.
Confirmandi will have the option of regularly attending either a Tuesday evening (6-7pm) or Saturday afternoon (1-2pm) class.

Parents must attend one of the mandatory Parent Information and Registration sessions which will be held on:

Thursday September 26th at 7:30pm

Saturday September 28th at 11:30am

To register your child for Confirmation please bring the following to the Parent Information Session:

Original (parish seal visible) and copy of your child’s baptismal and First Communion certificates

$80 registration fee (cash or cheque payable to St. Bernadette Parish)
